ULYSSES – Stephen Dean Harp, 59, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.

He was born Nov. 13, 1953, to Luther and Geraldine (Mead) Harp in Ulysses.

He drove truck for Popejoy Construction, Kroy Industries and Pete Woods Construction.  He was a beadwork craftsman in his spare time.

He is survived by his mother; one son, Lowell Paul Harp, Cheyenne, Wyo.; three daughters, Kayla Sue Harp, Wichita, Shawnna Marie Sears, Wichita, and Jessica Harp, Ulysses; two sisters, Beckie Fuentes, Houston, and Linda Smith, Ulysses; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

o Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses, with the Rev. Bill Harrold presiding.

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to Stephen Harp Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS  67880.
