Obituary

HUGOTON – Vera Lowry, 90, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012.

She was born Oct. 11, 1922, to Mack Greenwood and the former Georgia Davis.

She married Eldon Lowry May 17, 1946. He died in 1990.

She graduated from high school in Canon City, Colo.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Lowry, Garden City, Eljean Miller and husband, Henry, Scott City, Juleine Lowry, Jimmie Lowry, Russell Lowry and Sam Lowry and wife, Susan, all of Hugoton; a brother, Milton Greenwood and wife, Kathy, Nampa, Idaho; two sisters, Cleora Nordyke, Hugoton,  and Loretta Cacciatore, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one grandson, Shane Lowry, Hugoton.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; three brothers, Elden, Myron and Kenneth Greenwood; and two sisters, Maxine Lautaret, Lorine Lautaret.

o Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hugoton Cemetery  with Pastor Pam Peachy presiding.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Hugoton.

Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 423 S. Main, Hugoton, KS  67951.
