HELEN M. KEPLEY
ULYSSES – Helen M. Kepley, 91, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton.
She was born May 27, 1918, to James Edward and Viola (Baker) King in Edwards County.
She married Edward Kepley July 31, 1939, in Ulysses. He died Nov. 12, 2008.
She was a homemaker.
She was a founding member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Golden EHU, and a past Grant County Cemetery board member.
Survivors include three sons, Marshall and wife, Berta, Hugoton, Jim and wife, Linda, Ulysses, and David and wife, Ann, Elgin, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John King, one sister, Marion Wolfe, and one granddaughter, Karen Kepley.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ulysses with the Rev. Michael J. Bridge presiding.
Burial will follow at the Golden Cemetery in rural Grant county.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
