EDWARD F. ISAAC
ULYSSES – Edward F. Isaac, 87, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Bethel Home Inc. in Montezuma.
He was born Nov. 2, 1921, to Arthur and Justina (Friesen) Isaac in Great Bend.
He married Evelyn Smith March 4, 1945, in Greensburg. She survives.
He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite of Ulysses.
Other survivors include two sons, Harold Isaac and wife, Lavauna, Ulysses, and Mark Isaac; three daughters, Mary Beth Koehn and husband, Dale, Ulysses, Ruth Ann Koehn and husband, Rodney, Ulysses, and Saundra Nightingale and husband, Weldon, Ulysses; one brother, Ervin Isaac, Durham; 19 grandchildre; 48 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dave and Vernon Isaac, and one sister, Edna Redger.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Grant Mennonite Church in Ulysses with ministers Denton Koehn and Stuart Jantzen presiding.
Burial will be at the Grant Mennonite Cemetery of Ulysses.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grant County Funeral Home.
