MARY E. CLAY

MEADE – Mary E. Clay, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Meade District Hospital.

She was born July 21, 1927, to Frank and Callie (Vink) Weber inFowler.

She married Walter Kent Clay Sept. 28, 1952, in Fowler. He died Oct. 9, 1999.

She attended the Fowler school system, graduating from Fowler High School in 1946.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Meade, and enjoyed arts and crafts, and sewing.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Clay and wife, Lori, Liberal; one brother, Neal Weber, Fowler; one sister, Viola Ewy, Columbus, Ohio; and two grandsons, Kyle and A.J. Clay.

o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Meade with Pastor Paul Livingston presiding.

Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery of Meade.

Friends may call until 7 p.m. today at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary of Meade.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Children’s Miracle Network in care of the funeral home.
