From early reports, Oklahoma authorities think Terry Stanton, 52, may have suffered a heart attack while driving home on Larrabie Road around 9:15 Monday night.

According to Stanton’s daughter, Kari Stanton, he drove off the road about one mile south of Liberal and nearly one mile from his rural residence in Beaver County. Family members received a call from authorities this morning saying they were not going to report it as an accident, but rather as an incident. A call to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed the OHP has listed Stanton’s death as “an unattended death.”

Attempts to reach Beaver County Sheriff Reuben Parker for a report were unsucessful as of press time.
