NOXIE M.H.W. HARDER
AMARILLO, Texas – Noxie Mae Huddleston Williams Harder, 84, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at the Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospice in Amarillo, Texas.
She was born Feb. 1, 1925, to Samuel Huddleston and Roxie B. Webb in Elkhart.
She ran the 4 Corners Cafe. She helped on the farm, driving the tractor and combines. She also sold Stanley Home Products. Later, she opened an upholstery shop and glass shop in Guymon, Okla.
She is survived by her children, Melvyn and Dorothy Williams, Eva, Okla., Mary Lou Cryer, Guymon, Barbara and Chuck Claybrook, Channing, Texas, Larry and Janice Williams, Eva, Ted and Teresa Harder, Elkhart, Crystal Brice, Amarillo, Tanya Jones, Amarillo, and Delane Wallace, Amarillo; one sister, Carolea Matthews, Dalhart, Texas; grandchildren, Charles and Shelly Williams, Guymon, Jimmy and Diane Williams, Eva, Timothy Williams, Guymon, Kimberly and Mike Reese, Perkins, Okla., Marty and Glenda Smith, Durant, Okla., Mike and Monty Smith, Guymon, Pistol McCune, Goodwell, Okla., Larry Wayne and Beth Williams, Elkhart, Pamela and Jason Crane, Springfield, Colo., Dennis Brice and Danielle of Germany; and Richard Jones of the military; great-grandchildren, Heath and Megan Williams, Dereck and Tiffany Marie Williams, Tanner Williams, Tiffany Suzanne Williams; Andrew Williams, Ashley Williams, Chase Williams, Conner Williams, Chris Reese, Shelby Reese, Amy Price, Crystal Hayes, Sam Smith, Jim Caraker, Jamie Caraker, Sarah Caraker, Loper McCune, Chris Claybrook, Chad Claybrook, Damon Schnaufer, Rebecca Williams, Colby Williams and Madison Mae Williams; great-grandchildren, Kalob Williams, Landen Williams, Gavyn Williams, Ace Williams, Alexis Hayes, Morgan Hayes, Kayden Hayes and Megan Price; two nieces, Bonnie Matthews, Dalhart, and Linda Lou; and one nephew, Darrel Huddleston, Texhoma.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Huddleston and Clementine Capps and John and Mary Worth; her parents; her husband, Lloyd (Jack) Harder; and two brothers, Howard Allen Huddleston and Carl Huddleston.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God in Elkhart with Pastor Gary Murrell presiding.
Burial will be at the Baker Cemetery in the Eva community.
