A large fight resulted in the stabbing of two 19-year-olds Halloween afternoon, according to a press relase from Liberal Police Cpt. Pat McClurg.
“On Oct. 31, at about 4:07 p.m., officers of the Liberal Police Department were called to the 700 block of South Pennsylvania for a large fight,” McClurg noted. “While officers were responding, two 19- year-old males were transported to Southwest Medical Center with apparent stab wounds.”


“The investigation showed that several young men in their teens met at the 700 block of South Pennsylvania. A fight ensued and two 19- year-old males were stabbed. They were transported to Southwest Medical Center by private vehicle.
“The investigation is ongoing at this time,” McClurg added.
