Daily Leader staff report

Southwestern Heights advanced to 4-0 Tuesday after a three-game sweep at the Holcomb quad.

The Lady Mustangs started with a victory over Stanton County, 25-22, 25-19.

Heights continued with a 25-13, 25-6 victory over Satanta.

The Lady Mustangs continued their dominance with a 25-9, 25-13 win over host Holcomb.

Junior Heidi Brown led the Lady Mustangs with 18 kills, edging out junior Deni Jacobs who had 17. Brown also served 12 consecutive points in a row in Game 2 against Satanta. Senior Kathy Eakes added

13 kills and had three blocks at the net.

Britny Butler was the assist leader, and Lindsay Garinger added 12 kills.

The junior varsity Lady Mustangs advanced to 3-1 on the season by 

knocking off Stanton County, 25-21, 25-18 and Satanta 25-14, 25-18.  

The Lady Mustang JV dropped its first match of the season to Holcomb 22-25, 26-24, 7-15.
