HUGOTON – Luz Rivera, 75, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born Sept. 19, 1933, to Dolores, Dominguez in Mexico.
She married Manuel Rivera in 1950 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He died in March of 1995.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Liberty In Christ Church in Tyrone, Okla.
Survivors include three sons, Danial Rivera of Mexico, Raul Rivera, Hugoton, and Jesus Rivera, Hugoton; two daughters, Maria Rivera, Liberal, and Martha Rivera, Hugoton; one brother, Jose Dominguez of Mexico; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sons and one daughter.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Centro Christiano in Tyrone with Pastor Mario Loredon presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Paul’s Funeral Home.
