Tyrone community raising money for youth in need of kidney PDF Print E-mail

The Tyrone, Okla., Fire Department will be hosting a fundraiser for one of its own from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Tyrone Public School. The menu will include brisket, baked potatoes, salad and dessert.
The fundraiser is for Triston Cornelson, a 15-year-old freshmen at Tyrone High School and son of Tyrone firefighter DeWayne and his wife, Tausia Cornelson, will be undergoing a kidney transplant this May. DeWayne is going in as well by being the donor.
DeWayne has served the Tyrone Fire Department for 20 years and is continuing to serve the department.
Free will donations at this event will be greatly appreciated. Help the department help one of its own.
