LOUISE A. BEAVERS SMITH CANYON LAKE, Texas – Louise Ann Beavers Smith, 67, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at her home in Canyon Lake. She was born Jan. 14, 1942, to Claude and Pauline (Horner) Beavers in Hugoton. She married Bobby L. Smith. He survives. She attended school in Hugoton. She was a wife, mother and caring friend. She was a member of the Canyon Lake Ladies Golf Association and the Buffalo Girls. Other survivors include three sons, Gentry Trahern and wife, Susan, Borger, Texas, Flint Trahern, Chico,Texas, and Troy Trahern and wife, Sharon, Sunray, Texas; grandchildren, Miranda Martinez, Aaron Trahern, Laura Cano, Genta Huffman, Jerrod, Grant, Sam Clinton and Brent Trahern and Trent, Trevor and Tori Trahern; great-grandchildren, Gavin Martinez, Landon, Addison and McKinley Trahern, Averi and Aiden Cano, Rilynn Kate Huffman and Raiden Trahern; stepchildren, Todd and Sandie Smith, Midland, Texas; step grandchildren, Ian Guy Smith and Tyler Glynn Smith; one brother, Doyle Beavers and wife, Rita, Bowie, Texas; and her dog, Pickles. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Beavers; and one sister, Claudine Oder. o Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zoeller Funeral Home in Braunfels, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hugoton Cemetery.
