ELKHART – Lourdes Martinez, 37, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in Texas County, Okla.

She was born March 1, 1973, to Ramon and Rosa (Aguirre) Morales in Meoqui Chichuahua, Mexico.

She married Marco Martinez in 1996 in Hugoton. He survives.

She is also survived by three daughters, Emily Martinez, Gabrela Martinez and Beatriz Martinez; one brother, Adrian; five sisters, Araceli, Susana, Veronica, Armida, and Mayra; 20 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

o Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart with the Rev. Pascal Klein presiding.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart with the Rev. Pascal Klein presiding.

Burial will be at Meoqui Chichuahua, Mexico.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to  5 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Memorials are suggested to the Lourdes Martinez Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, P.O. Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
