Turpin's Francisco Regelado was the spark that the Turpin Cardinals needed to finish the Oil Center Classic o n a positive note. Regalado hit seven shot from beyond the arc and scored a total of 29 to help Turpin take down the Waynoka Railroaders 64-54 Saturday.

Regelado got it going early, scoring 12 in the first quarter to help keep the Cardinals close. Waynoka held a slight 15-14 edge at the end of the first quarter.

Regelado added 10 more to his total in the second quarter, and finished the first half with six 3-pointers. Turpin outscored Waynoka in the second quarter to build a five-point lead at the break, 32-27.

Waynoka cut the lead to just three by the end of the third, but Turpin outscored the Railroaders 18-11 in the fourth. Freddie Baeza and Edgar Anchondo each added 14 points to help the Cardinal win.
