Nadine I. Marshall, 89, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She was born Feb. 18, 1920, to Frank and Letha (Vandergrift) McMichael in Mount View, Okla.

She married Raymond Marshall Feb. 21, 1938, in Caddo, Oklahoma. He died February 29, 1988.

She was employed by USD No. 480 as an elementary librarian.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Liberal where she participated in the establishment of and worked in their media library.

She painted for many years with the Senior Center’s art group.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Bean and husband, Richard, Liberal, and Phyllis Wolfe and husband, Jeff, Thornton, Texas; two sisters, Hazel Nance, Norman, Okla., Freda Evans, Canton, Okla.; five grandchildren, Trent Kitch, Liberal, Ryan Burke and wife, Wednesday, Kingwood, Texas, Jackie Minor and husband, Vern, Republic, Mo., Jerrie Rankin and husband, Dale, Newton, and Tina Louderback and husband, Tim, San Jose, Costa Rico; and 10 great-grandchildren, Erin Graham and husband, Kale, Chicago, Candis Fishburn and husband, Ross, Dallas, Andrew Pouch, Newton, Samantha Minor, Republic, Matthew and Marshall Burke, Kingwood, and Trinity, Noah, Gracie Lynn and Eden Louderback of San Jose, Costa Rico

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Gladys Troub and Margarite Cotter.

o Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Liberal with Dr. Jack Jacob and Dr. Vern Minor presiding.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials are suggested to the First Southern Baptist Church in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS 67901.
