CONWAY, Ark. – John M. Warren, 66, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, in Conway, Ark.

He was born Feb.12, 1943, to John and Thelma Abbott Warren near Elk City, Okla.

He married Betty  Sadant Sept. 20, 1961, in Hobbs, N.M.                          

He then married Patricia G.  Maturey Armstrong March 24, 1993, in Oklahoma City. She died  Nov. 3, 1999.  

He later married Karen Hartness Ware Aug. 3, 2001, in Satatnta. She survives.

He worked in the oilfield for more than 46 years in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, New Mexico and Arkansas in fishing and tool rental business. He was manager for Armstrong Tool Company in Greenbrier, Ark., for the past  three years. He retired in January 2009.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He is also survived by one son, Shawn Ware and wife, Amanda, Liberal; four daughters, Janet Ceniseros, Albuquerque, N.M.,  Sandra Warren, Hobbs, N.M., Wendy Luck and husband, Eric, Kansas City, Kan., and Michelle Hay and husband, Rod, Liberal;  one stepson, Jon Armstrong and wife Lynette, Hays; one stepdaughter, Michelle “Red”  Palma and husband, John, Fort Hood, Texas;  two sisters, Carolyn Rice and husband, Jimmy, Liberal, and Shirli Poulton, Liberal; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  

He was preceded  in death by his  parents and one brother Charlie Baker Sr.

    o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday  at Miller Chapel with Father James P. Dieker presiding.

Burial will be at the  Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller Mortuary.
