KINGMAN, Ariz. – Danny Ray Edney, 47, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at the Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Ariz.

He was born Aug. 11, 1961, to Daniel W. and Sherry A. Bell Edney in Seminole, Okla.

He married Brenda J. Lee June 2, 2006, in Liberal. She survives.

He attended Liberal schools and worked in the oilfield as a roughneck, working in Southwest Kansas, Wyoming and Arizona.

He is also survived by his father; his mother; four daughters, Candy, Cindy, Crissy and Patricia Edney; two brothers, Leland Karpe, Shawnee, Okla., and  Daniel Edney Jr, Chandler, Okla.; and two sisters, Tammy Camacho, Seminole, Okla., and  Tina Vadila, Tulsa, Okla.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller Chapel with the Rev.  William Williams presiding.

Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at Miller Mortuary.
