Leone Hook, 81, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center, Liberal.

She was born Jan. 27, 1928, to Alfred and Freda Jameson Barker in Delphas.

She married Nov. 21, 1946, Ivan Hook in Clayton, N.M. He died Jan. 29, 2003.

She worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney and Reed Surplus Outlet and for USD No. 480, retiring in 1979.

She is survived by three daughters, Sheryl Kerr and husband, Ron, Tyrone, Okla., Carol Martin and husband, Gary, Parker, Colo., and Sharon Jones and husband, Orville, Turpin, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother, one sister, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.

o Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tyrone Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Stone presiding.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in care of the mortuary.
