Charles T. “Lucky” Parkins III,  61, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at his home.

He was born March 2, 1948, to Charles T. and Mayme Montgomery in Liberal.

He attended school in Kismet and worked in the roofing business for many years.

He married Bonnie Y. Hart  March 3, 1980, in Beaver, Okla. She survives.

He is also survived by four daughters, Angie, Carrie, Robin and Tiffany; two brothers, Steven Parkins, Forgan, Okla., and Al Ibey, Lexington, Ky.; and seven sisters, Laura Gannor, Fruita, Colo., Lela Tindale and husband, Bob of Texas,  Charlene Parkins of Missouri; Janice Baggs and husband, Glenn, Canton, Okla., Charline Bolt and husband, Gene, Wichita,  Nancy Owens and husband, Robert, Wichita, and Tracy Kenn, Council Grove.

o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.  Friday at Miller Chapel with the Rev. Gene Bolt presiding.

Burial will be at the Arkalon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time at Miller Mortuary.
