The Lady Redskin volleyball team traveld to Manhattan for a tournament over the weekend, and faced stiff competition.

Liberal started with a loss to Olathe East, 25-12, 25-18.

Makiah Adams had five kills and one error on 16 attempts. Cynthia  Cisneros had 10 digs, and Jai Chapman had seven digs.

Liberal lost to Blue Valley West 25-14, 25-11.

Adams had seven kills and one error on 19 attempts. Jaycee Darroch had eight digs

The Lady Redskins fell to Shawnee West 25-20, 25-12.

Chapman had eight kills and four errors on 34 attempts. Adams had four kills and two errors on 17 attempts. Cisneros had 16 digs.

Junction City defeated Liberal 25-19, 25-18.

Chapman had four aces, and Adams had five kills with one error on 12 attempts.

The Lady Redskins defeated Topeka High 25-15, 22-25, 25-23.

Katie Garcia had four aces and 12 assists. Adams had 13 kills and two errors on 32 attempts. Chapman had 10 digs, and Cisneros had eight digs.
