RONALD E. GROVER
JOHNSON – Ronald E. Grover, 62, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Stanton County Hospital in Johnson.
He was born June 2, 1946, to Lloyd and Vera (Stafford) Grover in Enid, Okla.
He married Frances Brown Aug. 25, 1964, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.
He graduated from high school in Springfield, Colo.
He had farmed in Johnson since 1966.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Johnson.
He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He was also a fan of KU basketball, enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the lake.
Other survivors include two sons, Wesley Grover and wife, Karen, Johnson, Kyle Grover and wife, Tami, Hays; one brother, Gerald Grover, Claremore, Okla.; two sisters, Beverly Aragon, Fort Worth, Texas, and Winona McCormick, Pueblo, Colo.; and four grandchildren; Mitchell Grover, Leighton Grover, Tressidy Grover and Tia Grover; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
o Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson with the Rev. Robert Warner and the Rev. Dave Kaufmann presiding.
Burial will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
