Mary Anne Tharp, 76, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

She was born August 15, 1932, to Robert and Irva Haney in Chicago. 

She married Gomer J. Tharp March 19, 1950, in Kenton, Okla.  He died Oct. 31, 1993.

She graduated from the Kenton High School.  

She was bookkeeper for Pittman Feed.   

Survivors include one daughter,      Vickie Hackett and husband, Richard, Liberal; six grandchildren, Rick Hackett, Daniel Hackett, Joshua Hackett, Stephen Hackett, Rebecca Hackett and Rachel Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Eli Hackett and Langston Conyer.

o Cremation has taken place, and there will be no public services.  

Private burial will take place at Kenton Cemetery at a later date.  

Memorials are suggested to donor’s choice in care of Kitch – Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS  67901.
