The 2010 Five State Fair Queen, Amanda Collins, talks to students at Sunflower Intermediate Thursday about how they can participate in the fair. This is just one of many stops Collins will make at Liberal’s intermediate and elementary schools. Collins’ goal is to get more youth involved in the fair. This year’s fair is scheduled to take place from July 31 to Aug. 8. She is also scheduled to talk about summer camps at Mid-America Air Museum, including Camp Falcon, which starts May 31, and Camp Sparrow, which begins June 6. L&T photo/Robert Pierce
