A cool night did not keep a large group of fans from Rosel Field Monday to watch the Cardinals and Royals battle in a well-pitched game for both sides.

Javier Neave earned the win for the Cardinals, 5-3.

The game was tied 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Coby Walters hit an RBI single to score Braxton Hyde. Serando Avila added an insurance run by hitting an RBI single.

Neave was able to retire the Royals in order in the top of the sixth for the 5-3 win.
