The lifelong Liberal residents were casting their ballots for the Liberal City Commission, SCCC/ATS Board of Trustees, and for the USD No. 480 School Board. Turnout was light. RIGHT: Charles Chain, retired Liberal High School government teacher, casts his ballot at the Seward County Activity Center this morning. Turnout was light as voters were determining who will sit on the Liberal City Commission, Seward County Community College/Area Technical School Board of Trustees and on the USD No. 480 School Board. Voters in Kismet were choosing school board members for USD No. 483. The Seward County Clerk’s office received 510 advance voting ballots as well as 84 mail-in ballots.
