LIBERAL — Jared Hall bowled a 672 series and Hunter Sandell a 622 to lead the Liberal boys bowlers to a 2596-2433 win over Dodge City, Thursday at Ayr Lanes. The LHS girls also won over the Red Demons, 2229-2152.
“The boys shot their highest set of the year,” head coach Robert Burkey said. “We’re still riding high from the win on Monday.”
Dylan Sandell bowled a 545, Adrian Amado 613, Hunter Rinehart 592 and Jeff Minor 593 for Liberal. Tanner Dalton bowled a 618 to lead Dodge City.
The girls were down after the first game, but came back to win going away.
Erica Fowler bowled a 586 and Madison Butler 564 to pace Liberal. Kimberly Vanley bowled 511, Kylie Jennings 531 and Katie Jennings 494
Liberal will host Great Bend Tuesday at Ayr Lanes for senior recognition day.
