The Lady Redskin JV didn’t jump out to a great start against the Lady
Buffaloes’ JV but they fought back and finished strong to pull out a
55-42 victory.
The Lady Redskins began by digging themselves a hole that left them
down eight by the end of the first quarter, 18-10. The Lady Redskins
found a way to climb out of that hole, and by halftime they found
themselves ahead 28-23, and they would not look back.
From there on out the Lady ’Skins did not just maintain their lead
but they stretched it out and would only allow the Lady Buffaloes to
score 19 points the whole second half to their 27.
The strong three quarters made up for the slow start. The Liberal JV
finished 55-42 over the Lady ’Buffs and had many girls put up some
quality numbers.
Malyssa Williams led the Lady Redskins with 14 points followed
closely by Kristen Ross who hit double digits by scoring up 13, and
Justice Norah scored nine to finish among the top scorers.
