The Seward County Lady Saints had yet to really put the clamps down on an inferior opponent, until Saturday night, that is.  The Lady Saints used an early 12-0 run to jump ahead of the Dodge City Lady Conquistadors in the Greenhouse and kept the pressure on all night, taking a 32-15 lead into the locker room at half before bouncing the Lady Conqs back to Dodge by the count of 69-42.
The Lady Saints shot 47 percent as a team on the night while holding Dodge to just 26 percent shooting.
Morgan Skomal led Seward in scoring with 16 while Kelsey Willson added 11 and Ashlynn Knoll and Mariah Lee chipped in 10 a piece.
Seward is now 14-6 overall and 4-2 in Jayhawk West Conference action.
On Wednesday it will head to Garden City to take on a struggling but dangerous Lady Busters team before returning home on Saturday to battle with Butler.
