DODGE CITY — The Liberal High School boys bowling team placed third and the girls second in a triangular between Dodge City, Liberal and Holcomb on Monday at Dodge City.
The Lady Redskins placed second behind Dodge City with 2002 points to Dodge City’s 2121. Holcomb was third with a team total of 1781.
Kylie Jennings led Liberal with a 214-179-168 for a 561 total. Erica Fowler bowled a 175-168-174 for a 517 individual total, and Kimberly Vanley bowled a 134-189-169 for 492 total.
Other LHS girls totals included Jessica Fowler with a 136-160-136 for 431, Katie Jennings 125-134-137 for a 396 total and Madison Butler with a 111-119-124 for 355.
Four Dodge City bowlers scored above 500, including Chantel Smith with a 186-193-188 for 567 total.
Holcomb’s best game was a 138-139-165 — 442 by Shannae Carman.
On the boys’ side, Liberal was seven points behind second place Holcomb with a 2086, while Dodge City cruised to first with a 2602.
Hunter Sandell led Liberal with a 206-161-190 — 557, and Hunter Rinehart bowled a 200-179-152 — 530. Adrian Amado bowled 172-147-172 — 491; Jared Hall 131-158-193 — 482; Dylan Sandell 133-150-154 — 437, and Jeff Minor 151-131-119 — 401.
Dodge City’s Dylan Woods dominated everybody, bowling a 226-223-256 for 705 total. Jaden Herbert bowled 236-223-219 — 678 as nobody bowled lower than 532 for the Red Demons.
Holcomb’s best score was Chris Foreman, who bowled a 184-182-236 — 602.
