High school basketball fans are in for a full slate of action tonight across the area.
The Liberal High School Redskins are back on the road tonight in Scott City, where the Redskin boys will face an unbeaten Scott City squad that features one of the area’s top scorers. But at 5-3, Liberal features another top-noth scorer in Jade Cathey. The senior averages 20 points per game for the Redskins.
The Lady Skins are fresh off a big win over Garden City on Tuesday night, and come into tonight’s game with a 4-4 overall record. Justice Norah averages over 20 points per game for the Lady Redskins.
The Southwestern Heights Mustangs and Lady Mustangs return home tonight for the first time since the first game of the season back in early December, to face Sublette. The Lady Mustangs are 6-1 overall, their only loss a 3-point setback to Stratford, Texas at the Hugoton Tournament. The ladies easily handled Meade 60-38 on Tuesday night as Heidi Brown drained 25 points.
The Mustang boys enter the game 2-5 and look to get back on the winning track.
