HUGOTON – Cynthia Ellen Fankhauser, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
She was born Dec. 18, 1919, to Ivan and Maude (Medley) Perkins in Stockton.
She married Paul Vernon Fankhauser March 31, 1945, in Denver. He died Aug. 3, 2003.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hugoton and a charter member of Jaycee Janes.
She enjoyed golfing and dancing.
Survivors include one daughter, Cynda Perry and husband, Steve, Hugoton; one niece, Cynthia Graves, Houston; two stepdaughters, Crystal Robinson and Marla Burnham; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Paul Perkins, Dr. Ivan Perkins and Donald Perkins, one sister, Doris May Fulton, and two nephews, Ivan Perkins Conover and Allen Perkins.
o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Harry Cross presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may sign the register until 8 p.m. today at Paul’s Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed.
