Obituary

ULYSSES – Eugene G. Molby, 78, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at the Legacy in Ulysses.

He was born May 16, 1932, to Frank R. and Leodah (Sackett) Molby in Greenleaf.

He married Doris A. Brack Dec. 10, 1950, in Leoti. She died Aug. 15, 2009.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked in procuce at Ideal’s in Scott City and  Ulysses and Jack and Jill IGA in Ulysses. He worked for the Berkley Medical Center in Ulysses.

He was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Ulysses.

Survivors include two sons, Douglass Molby, Ulysses, and Kelvin Molby and wife, Debbie, Odessa, Texas; two daughters, Sharon Davis, Ulysses, and Janene Hamilton and husband, Michael, Liberal; one brother, Robert C. Molby; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ilah Jane Miller.

o Funeral service will be today at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ulysses with Minister presiding.

Burial will be at the Ulysses Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Legacy of Ulysses and may be mailed to Grant County Funeral Home, 218 S. Main, Ulysses, KS 67880.
