ULYSSES – Rhonda Jean Nightingale, 51, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Kansas City Hospice House.
She was born Oct. 2, 1959, to Merle Manford and Deloris Jean (Schmidt) Nichols in Garden City.
She married Steve Nightingale Feb. 28, 1982, in Copeland. He survives.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Lakin.
Other survivors include her parents; two sons, Darcy Nightingale and wife, Denise, Ulysses, and Barry Nightingale and wife, Andrea, Ulysses; one daughter, Jenny Nightingale, Ulysses; one brother, Jerry Nichols and wife, Christy, Sublette; two sisters, Cyndi Troyer and husband, Willis, Apple Creek, Ohio; and Melanie Johnson and husband, Lance, Sublette; one grandson, Jay Nightingale; and other relatives and friends.
o Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Lakin Mennonite Church with ministers Williams Koehn, Kyle Koehn and Galen Willimas presiding.
