Kenneth Henderson jumped out to an early lead, and the Lady Apaches offense never got on track in a 35-4 loss Monday at Apache Fieldhouse.
The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and added 10 more in the second.
South was able to get a mid-range jumper from Edna Galindo and a free throw from Marina Arevenas to make the score 24-3 at the half.
But the Lady Apaches were shut out in the third quarter while the Lady Falcons added eight more points to the lead.
South’s Allison Nondorf hit a free throw in the fourth to round out the scoring for the Lady Apaches.
South will use the rest of the week to prepare to host West at 4 p.m. Monday.
