The Seward County Commission will tackle two annual routine items during its first regular meeting of 2018 tonight.

The first item is to approve a resolution designating the county’s bank depositories for 2018. According to the resolution, the county uses four banks locally as depositories for its money – First National Bank, Sunflower Bank, Community Bank and Bank of Beaver City.

The second item concerns review and approval of the county’s 2017 fixed assets. This item is done on a yearly basis in order to track and record county assets.

The fixed assets were submitted by accounts payable clerk Melinda Baker.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 tonight in the commission chambers of the Seward County Administration Building.
