AMARILLO, Texas – Robert J. Bromlow, 80. died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017. 

He was born May 10, 1937 to Dan and Joella Bromlow in Fairview, Okla.

He married his wife, Joan, Dec. 24, 1956 in Guymon, Okla. She survives. 

He graduated from Guymon High School in 1955.

He was an avid hunter, golfer and fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors, with many particular memories made at the annual family reunion. 

He was an active member of Trinity Fellowship Church. 

He also owned and operated KBOB’s Steakhouse in Liberal with his wife from 1976 to 1994.

Survivors also include son, Bobby Bromlow, Wichita; daughters, Debbie Townsend and husband, David, Amarillo, Texas, and Suzanne Adamson, Amarillo, Texas; sister, Velva Perkins, Ratliff City, Okla.; and may grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Judy Benson, Nancy Flick, and Janet Whisenant; brother, Ira Bromlow; and grandson, Brandon Kuns. 

 Celebration of Life services took place Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas with Pastor Kyle Wilkenson presiding. 

Memorials are suggested to the Faith City Mission at 401 SE 2nd Avenue, Amarillo, TX 791018.
