The Lady Warriors took on Kenneth Henderson from Garden City last night in eighth grade basketball action. The Lady Warriors ended up defeating Kenneth Henderson by a score of 36-13. 

Ashley Carrillo led the scoring with 21 points. Bree Horyna had five points and four rebounds, and Emma Evans scored four.

Kaitlyn Stoney added seven rebounds.

The seventh grade Lady Warriors came out and made a statement winning 45-7. 

Leading the team in scoring was Lexi Hensley with 18 points. Hallie West put in 14 points and had four steals. Lizzy Cisneros had a stand-out night scoring five, pulling down eight rebounds and adding four assists. 

Rachelle Terrazas put in three with Arianna Hubbard and Harley Ewalt each adding two. Naomi Macias had 1 point 5 rebounds and 2 steals. 

“The Warriors had a much improved game from Tuesday night,” Lady Warrior coach Jessica Tercero said.
