GUEST COLUMN, Larry Phillips, Kismet

ESPN sports anchor Jemele Hill, who is Black, created a controversy a couple of weeks ago by attacking President Trump’s character on Twitter.

My question is, Why the surprise? ESPN sports announcers and anchors have been ridiculing everything Trump and conservatives and Christians and the Constitution for several years.

For those who don’t follow the Fake News cycles, here is what Hill Tweeted – in her exact words – on Sept. 11, a day of deep emotions to most Americans.

At 6:54 p.m. – “Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.”

Four minutes later, she tweeted this at 6:58 p.m. – “Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.”

News Flash from ESPN and Jemele Hill: We millions who voted for Trump – and elected him President – are “white supremacists.”

She’s despicable. “Period.”

ESPN has for years warned their analysts who are conservative, like former NFL star Jason Seahorn, to “tone down” his conservative views on other stations such as Fox News, because ESPN doesn’t want politics mixed in with sports.

Hah. A total and hypocritical untruth. They tolerate politics every hour of every day – as long as it’s liberal politics. They go nuts and lose their collective minds if a conservative thought is spoken or tweeted by anyone in their herd of cattle – also known as sports announcers and analysts.

They fired former major league pitcher Curt Shilling for tweeting a conservative view of transgenders using any bathroom they wanted.

But ESPN’s reaction to Hill was this:

“We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”

She was not fired – still collecting a big check.

A double standard?

You bet, and Shilling was right on when he said on Sean Hannity’s radio show Sept. 13:

“Let’s be very clear about something,” Schilling told Hannity, “Jemele Hill has always been a racist – the things that she says, the things that she does – I don’t have a problem with the fact that Jemele Hill is racist, that Bomani Jones is racist, and Colin Kaepernick knelt for a lie, and that Disney and ESPN, who they own, supports liberal racism.”

He added, “The left has always been the party of racism and intolerance.”

Amen Shilling. So much unabashed truth in those few words. And he knows his history; the KKK was a product of the Democrat Party.

For those who are attuned to the 24/7 propaganda the left inflicts into every sector of American life, Hill’s comments are matter-of-fact when it comes to leftist racists. They don’t associate their hatred with that of white racists, and that’s a very sociopathic concern – for everybody. They are both the same – pitiful losers.

I remember when Fox Sports 1 cable channel debuted a new show on Sept 6, 2016 – Undisputed with Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless.

My first thought was, “Great, another talk show with a Black loudmouthed liberal.”

I tuned in, and voila, I was correct.

Sharpe ranted and raved about how wonderful Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling was during the National Anthem, calling it free speech.

Exactly as I thought. I quickly changed channels, and I have never watched even one more second of that show again.

That’s my free speech.

Just sit back sometime and check out – even if its briefly – the so-called sports shows produced by ESPN, Fox Sports 1 or CBSSportsHD or NBCSports.

Many, including First Things First, with Chris Carter and Nick Wright; aforementioned Skip&Shannon, Undisputed and Pardon the Interruption with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon – highlight sports news with one Black and one white.

Sounds racially fair and balanced, but most of the whites are left-leaning – and if they’re not, they get fired by ESPN and Disney.

Also what’s up with all these shows listed below? And can you tell me what’s so weird about these shows?

Boomer & Carton

Mike & Mike

The Dan Patrick Show

Pro Football Talk

The Herd

Dan LeBatard Show

Ryen Rusillo Show

Paul Finebaum Show

Tiki & Tierny

The Rich Eisen Show

There’s probably more, but these 10 shows are about sports guys who sit around tilting their heads into these huge, gaudy radio microphones attached to big black adjustment rods while straining their necks to keep their eyes on the host(s).

They are all doing radio on television – weird – and the radio is mainly for ESPN. Some also wear those big, ugly ear phones, like they can’t hear what the guy next to them said without being “plugged-in.”

I don’t know about you, but I don’t watch TV to see guys doing a radio show – twisted up trying to keep their big mouths close to those huge mics. It’s so stupid, in my humble opinion, and if I want to listen to radio, I turn on the radio.

Plus, I don’t watch (or listen) to any of these guys anyway – ever. If I want to watch socialist racists, I tune to MSNBC to get my laughs.

Leftist racists in sports shows should be no big surprise, if one has been watching and paying attention. Progressives have infiltrated every facit of America’s fabric:

Including, but not limited to, the Fake News Media; all sports shows; entertainment TV (especially entertainment awards shows); the justice and court systems, correctional facilities and regulations; education at all levels now – even third graders are being subjected to leftist tenents; national advertising in all media; healthcare; and socialism has officially taken over the Democrat Party. That’s why it’s dying a slow ugly death before our very eyes.

And leftists can’t figure out why they are so out of step with Americans. Their little brains are so warped with hatred, they can’t see why Trump won the electoral college in 30 out of 57 – oops, I mean 50 – states.

Oh woe is me. Hope there are enough therapists out there to help all these brain-dead racists like Hill. Maybe if we all stopped watching ESPN so much, they’d get the message and remove some of this trash off the TV and radio airwaves?

That’s my free speech. Heh. Heh.
