Locally grown, vine ripened products as well as meats and more

• L&T staff report

There are still two Saturdays left to enjoy locally grown vine ripened fresh products from the Farmers Market.

“We are located in the Village Plaza parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday,” market manager Donna Thorp said. “Come out and enjoy your favorite fall breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, salsa, jellies and jams. We will have Dale Family Farms and Redger Farms with their wonderful meat products.”

Those interested in being a vendor can call 620-391-2252.

“Like us on Facebook at Farmers Market in Liberal Kansas,” Thorp said.

Sept. 30, the Farmers Market will be at the Duck Race Festival and United Way Chili and Soup Cookoff in Light Park from 8 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m.

“We will be located by the stone building just off the south parking lot for your convenience,” Thorp said. “This will be one of our largest Farmers Markets, so come out and enjoy the festival and all the specialty items the market has to offer.”
