ULYSSES – Beth Pucket, 60, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at her home in Ulysses.
She was born March 15, 1950, to Lewis Lee and Elizabeth Faith (Lorenz) Kemper in Garden City.
She married Glenn Pucket June 6, 1970, in Ulysses at the First Baptist Church. He survives.
She graduated from Garden City High School, Garden City Community College and obtained a B.A. from Panhandle State University and her M.B.A. from Friends University in 2009.
She was working at United Prairie Ag, LLC. She had also worked for Dr. Lewis W. Palmer Dental Office, Southwest Bank, and Western Kansas Broadcast Center.
She was a praise and worship leader for Faith Fellowship Church, later she was a leader at Family Worship Center, International; and an ordained minister through Charlie Rogers Ministries. She ministered to the inmates at Grant County Jail, Topeka, Norton and Hutchinson Correctional Facilities.
Other survivors include two daughters, Rochanne Pucket, Los Angeles, and Wendy Pucket, Atlanta; three brothers, Mark “Flurry” Kemper, Shurfy Kemper, Wichita, and Eugene Kemper, Montezuma; and one sister, Annetta Kemper of Cape Coral, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses with Pastor Charlie Rogers and Pastor David Lee presiding.
Burial will follow at the Shockey Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
