M. Lynn Scantlin (Legleiter)

M. Lynn Scantlin, 61, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008.

She was born June 3, 1947, to Nell and Leo Legleiter in Great Bend.

She married Mike Scantlin Aug. 15, 1970. He survives.

She graduated from Fort Hays Kansas State University. In 1999, she completed her Masters of Science in counseling at the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

She was a full-time mother.

She volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem and Birthright counselor.

Other survivors include two sons, David and Craig; one daughter, Sarahbeth Spasojevich and husband, Steve; and three grandchildren, Jack, Andrew and Simone Spasojevich.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

o Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Arlington Hills Presbyterian Church at 1275 Magnolia Ave. in St. Paul, Minn.

Visitation will be before the service.

Memorials are suggested to Arlington Hills Presbyterian Church or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
