Daily Leader staff report
When the annual Christmas Parade makes its traditional run down Kansas Avenue Dec. 4, someone will drive home in a 2003 silver Mustang.
This year’s parade is following the theme of “Silver Bells,” and it will feature the traditional favorites that the community has come to expect, including live entertainment in the afternoon followed by the evening parade and the car give-away.
Throughout October and November, the Mustang will be stationed at various locations throughout Liberal and the Oklahoma Panhandle.
There is no cost to register to win the car, but you must be present at the parade to win.
If your name is drawn, you have one minute to notify the stage, and the car is yours.
The first location to register for this year’s give-away will be Saturday at Oz-Fest. The car will be on display at the annual Oz-some event, and those who attend Oz-fest will be able to register for the Mustang.
Those who register must be 16 or older.
More details of the annual Christmas Parade will be coming soon, but don’t miss your chance to be one of the first to register at Dorothy’s House Saturday.
