Parks and Rec has announced the results from the fishing derby Saturday at Arkalon Park.
There were 20 participants in this year’s derby.
6 and under
1st Place – Kelsey Boman – 22 inches
7 to 10 years old
1st Place – tie – Elijah McCarter – 20 inches and Brandon Yorio – 20 inches
2nd Place – tie – Rebecca Irby – 19 inches and Ana Tovilla – 19 inches
11 to 14 years old
1st Place – Caleb Parish – 21 inches
2nd Place – Payton Yancy – 20.5 inches
3rd Place – Jacob McCarter – 19.5 inches
Overall Biggest Fish winner – Kelsey Boman
“A big thanks to our sponsors this year – Pro-Tek, Seward County United Way, Outcast Federation Bass Club and Kansas B.A.S.S Federation Nation,” Parks and Rec’s Ronna Stump said.
