TRIBUNE – Jose Paul Hernandez, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune.
He was born Jan. 15, 1940, to Pedro G. and Dominga (Medina) Hernandez in Torrington, Wyo.
He was an irrigation pipe dealer.
He attended the Catholic church.
Survivors include one son, Steven Hernandez, Wichita; two daughters, Melissa Walk and husband, Paul, Tribune, and Sarah Fetty and husband, Derek, Colorado Springs, Colo.; four brothers, Carmen Hernandez and wife, Mary, Ordway, Colo., Lupe Hernandez and wife, Julie, Plains, Nick Hernandez and wife, Mary, Ulysses, and Raymond Hernandez and wife, Donna, Deerfield; seven sisters, Josephine Martinez, Leoti, Bertha McGann and husband, Jack, Palco, Connie Maturey and husband, Junior, Satanta, Mary Hernandez, Satanta, Theresa Torres and husband, Roy, Leoti, Andrea Gerstberger and husband, Dale, Marienthal, and Rosario Klar and husband, Paul, Brodus, Mont.; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Richard Hernandez, and one brother, Tony Hernandez.
o A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. CST Sunday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Leoti.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. CST Monday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Leoti with Father Benjamin Morris presiding.
Burial will be at the Dudley Township Cemetery in Satanta.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Haskell County Funeral Home.
