BEAVER, Okla. – Myrtle Beatrice Dyer, 91, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Beaver County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 2, 1919, to Gilbert and Ivia (Green) Husted in Boyd, Okla.

She married Lowell Arthur Dyer July 16, 1938, in Knowles, Okla. He preceded her in death.

She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Methodist Church for more than 70 years and an Eastern Star.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Dyer, Beaver, Okla.; two daughters, Louise Smith and Cheryl Sutton, both of Potwin; one brother, Glenn Husted, Gate, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

o Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beaver United Methodist Church with Lynn Spencer presiding.

Burial will be at the Knowles Cemetery.
