Another baby and toddler were unharmed in same accident

A Satanta woman was trapped after rolling her vehicle several times shortly before noon Saturday north of Satanta. One of three children in the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle during the incident, while the other two were not injured.
Alexa L. Herrada, 27, was driving north on Kansas Highway K190 3.3 miles north of Satanta in Haskell County when her 2001 Oldsmobile slid left of center and into the west ditch. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the vehicle then rolled several times ejecting an 8-year old boy who was taken to Satanta District Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Herrada was pinned in the vehicle, but once  she was extricated, she, too, was transported to Satanta District Hospital for treatment.
Two other children in the car, an 8-month old girl and a 2-year-old girl were not injured, according to the report, and they were in safety restraints at the time of the roll-over.
