ERMA L. SCOTT HEGER Erma Louise Scott Heger, 68, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at her residence in rural Stevens County. She was born Jan. 17, 1940, to Charles Marshall and Daisy Viola (Massie) Scott in Seward County. She married Marlin Phil Heger Dec. 31, 1960, in Springfield, Colo. He survives. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1957. She was a homemaker She attended Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Her 10 grandchildren were her greatest joy and attending their activities filled her time. Other survivors include two sons, Darin Heger and wife, Michelle, Hugoton, and Kirk Heger and wife, Elise, Hugoton; two daughters, Chelle Leininger and husband, Charles, Hugoton, and Angela Heger, Hugoton; four brothers, Edward (Bud) Scott and wife, Rochelle, Winfield, Fred Scott and wife, Joan, Russell, Don Scott and wife, Shirley, Liberal and Tom Scott, Vernon, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Andreia Rose Leininger, Laton Kyle Heger, Kaitlyn Noelle Leininger, Brady Scott Heger, Wade Wilhelm Heger, Zackary James Leininger, Nathan Joseph Leininger, Marlyn Gail Heger, Casle Michelle Heger and Jayce Lanay Heger. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gregory Heger. o Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Eric Mason presiding. Burial will follow at Hugoton Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Christian Academy or Hugoton Elementary School Library or donors choice and may be sent in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd, Liberal, KS 67901.
