Several hundred motorcycles roll down Pancake Avenue Saturday afternoon as the Kansas HOG State Rally nears a close with the traditional parade through the host city. Liberal’s Mark Marcellus, who has been the rally coordinator the last three years, said 606 registered for the rally. “It was absolutely great,” Marcellus said. “And there were no accidents. I’d like to thank the local people for looking out for the motorcycles and also the quality of the riders – to have 606 people here the whole weekend and have no accidents is great. Also, so many thanks go out to the local businesses and area people. We didn’t get one complaint.” Daily Leader photo/
