Eldon Eugene Sutton, 80, died Monday, March 29, 2010.

He was born Jan. 20, 1930, to Earl C. and Hannah (Phieler) Sutton.

He married Nancy Sueko Uyenten in Honolulu, Hawaii, while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. She survives.

After a stint in the Army, he enlisted in the Marines. He was a master electrician in the Los Angeles School District.

He is also survived by four children, Debora, James, Sharon and Koren; one brother, John Wayne Sutton and wife, Bobbie Lou, Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher, Jesse Brian, Daniel and Nicholas; and several cousins, including Verda Ruth (Kemper) and husband, Harold Swagerty, Hugoton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Earl Sutton.
