A Hugoton man was injured when he rolled his tractor-trailer rig early this morning south of Rolla.
Dennis N. Stoddard, 59, was driving a 2008 Freightliner southbound on Morton County Road 24 at 12:55 a.m. today when the semi left the roadway on a curve and rolled. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, it was unknown how or why the truck left the roadway.
The cab of the truck came to rest just north of State Line Road landing on its wheels facing west, and the trailer of the semi came to rest on its right side, also facing west.
Stoddard was transported to Morton County Hospital for treatment of his injuries, and later, he was flown to Wesley Hospital in Wichita for further treatment.
